EIS Training Information
Mary will be offering theFashion Consultant Training Program in Chicago February 23, 24, and 25 at Lexington College. See Lexington College at www.lexingtoncollege.edu.
This three day training is an intensive survey of the field of fashion consulting. Subjects include a general overview of the fashion industry, principles of body type and creating an optical illusion of proportion, style and fashion personality, an introduction to color analysis, wardrobe analysis and design techniques (3 techniques are covered) and shopping basics.
Each student will also receive instruction on her own personal makeover.
Skincare, makeup, and hair styling are briefly covered, but it is recommended that any student interested in these subjects locate further training.
This course is excellent for the novice of fashion. It is presented in manageable sections and will help the student identify the branch or type of fashion consulting she may want to pursue. (Image consulting, styling, motivational speaking, writing, etc.) A skills inventory is given for guidance.
Successful completion results in the certificate: Successful Completion of the Elegance In Style Introduction to Fashion Consulting.
Successful completion involves passing the final exam and demonstrating sufficient skill with a "guest" client in a practicum.

Some Logistics:
Lexington College is easily accessed from the Blue Line. If you are coming to this training by plane, fly in to O'Hare Airport. (You can get to the Blue Line from the Airport.)
Class begins promptly at 9:30 on Thursday, Feb 23. A light breakfast with coffee is provided as part of the course. Only on the first day will lunch will be provided. Class ends each day at 6:00.
